I appreciate the "Loco News" is not up yet, but could a kind soul hazard a guess as to which turn Kinlet Hall may be on this coming Saturday the 29th, please, and how that translates into a first departure from Kidderminster?
Just negotiated "time-off" for a quick visit to the SVR, and fancied trying some GWR "bark" on Saturday!

Thanks.

Rob

The 9.55 (diesel) off Kidder will get you to Bridgnorth in time to catch 4936 back off there.

Are both the Manors facing north ?

They were on 16th August

Thanks Adrian - as Kinlet is also facing north, it looks like Haye Bridge is the photo spot

Through Old Hill about 18.42 on the way back to Tyseley. Too dark for a photo, and a DMU got in the way as well.

It wasn't decent! - but I did go on matt Fielding's Charter which has yielded a few images on my Fotopic site.

Hello all

one of the guest guest locomotives at the SVR's Autumn Gala on 2527 September.

Returning to Tyseley, she was on display at an Open Day on 25 October before
being dismantled for an overhaul which, it is hoped, will ready her for another
spell of main line operation in time for "GWR 175" events in 2010.

The Kinlet Hall Group are looking for new members to help in the locos overhaul. so if you are interesed in helping out please go the the group
site. http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/4936kinlethallgroup/

As are the groups overhauling those engines based on the SVR.

The point I was making was, whilst Kinlet Hall was a very welcome visitor and would be again, it is not an SVR based engine.

Further those engine groups that are SVR based would always welcome additional help.

OK one of the owners says that may move to the svr after the quick overhaul is done

I have no problems with that Paul and would be happy to give it my support if/when it comes to the SVR on a more permanent basis under a proper "loco agreement".
