Are all the engines going to be based at Bewdley, or will there be a temporary sub-shed at Kidderminster during January and February?

Thanks

There is no prep/disposal pit at Kidder or oil stores/tools etc etc.

Coal loading will be at KDR though as there are no coaling facilities at BY.

Smoke is also less welcome at KDR so I expect all steam loco workings 4th Jan until the line reopens will be ex Bewdley MPD.

There could therefore be quite a few locos at BY from 3.01 but whether they will all be available for service or some stored drained down is not yet clear.

Will the be physically enough room for all the active fleet at Bewdley without moving all or part of the DMU set elsewhere?

The DMU is being stabled in P3 (it's out every service day anyway) to give maximum room on the Rock for the steam locos.

According to the lastest roster 46443, 43106, 42968, 4566 and 7812 if the boiler is ok (currently having repairs) will be at Bewdley. This leaves 5764 and 5164 at Bridgnorth along with 6695 which will be having contract repairs. Not sure when or where 7802 will be returning?
