Twelve, but 46443 works Fri/Sat only and 7812 works Sun only, so only eleven at a time (if you count 6695 as a resident). |
I can think of 9, with 8 out on any one day. that right?

78019 from Great Central Railway
6695 from Swanage Railway
5786 from South Devon Railway
61994 (Great Marquess)
I think all are confirmed. |

What a muppet! Forgot to subtract the three visitors...
Twelve loco's in use over the weekend, eleven on any one day with NINE from the home fleet (still with 6695 counted as a resident). |

5764........... |
The SVR News section of the official website has relegated 5764 to those "locomotives are normally resident on the Severn Valley Railway but are not currently in working order" in its update 4/2/10

It was in steam at B'north on tuesday this week (exam?) so perhaps the website is now being edited under contract by Steam Railway?? |

| The information about 5764 appears to be incorrect. I guess whoever it is who updates the website must have seen it in the boiler shop and assumed it to be out of service? |

As the details of the visiting locos have appeared in adverts in the railway press, is there any reason why there is so little information on the events page of the official website for this event?

Thanks very much. Really looking forward to this event now. _________________ Footplate Volunteer - Llangollen

to add to that, 42968 and 7802 only work on Sunday too...
looking at the timetable though, it looks to be an absolute corker, looking forward to it tremendously! _________________ Regards

Well, OK. 7802 is the BY spare and 42968 is the BH spare, so I classed them as working. |

Certainly I would class 42968 as working - As far as I remember everytime it's rostered as spare something always seems to throw a wobbler and it ends up out in service even if briefly!!! (eg 2005 ASG springs to mind!) |

Especially considering that at most galas something goes wrong with at least one of the locos _________________ Kieren, Kidderminster Station Staff.
No Railway has ever made a bad engine, only ones which aren't quite as good as the others.
