Saw 92214 today doing what it does best, long train, well filled. Crossed with 34053 at Bewdley.
The green livery looks good on the 9F.

Lovely atmosphere at Bewdley,....despite the rather loud and tinny music!! Wink

Plenty of families walking back from Bewdley town to the station, with their SVR Santa bags, do many people break their journey on the way back from Arley?

Agreed re your comment about Santa visitors breaking their journey.
One hopes that the gentle burghers of Bewdley appreciate the custom we bring.

Less than six years in service, what a waste. Hope the current batch of new builds last longer than that.

Is it known when 92214 will be arriving on the SVR and at which end of the line (by road?)?

I think I have answered my own question.
Loco arrived at Bridgnorth today.
Proof is the BBC and http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/uk-england-shropshire-39236188?ns_mchannel=social&ns_source=twitter&ns_campaign=bbc_live&ns_linkname=58c81bbce4b07f8d67a0313a%26Locomotives%20arrive%20on%20the%20back%20of%20a%20lorry%26&ns_fee=0#post_58c81bbce4b07f8d67a0313a

Also plenty of photos on Facebook of 92214 and 34081 arriving at Bridgnorth on their low loaders yesterday and today.
in particular, the Unofficial Severn Valley Railway Facebook group.

Why do all engines arrive and depart from Bridgnorth now? Before the flood 10 years ago they all arrived and left from Kidderminster?

Weighing equipment at BH, after the 2009 derailment I heard. But it is received wisdom

Weighing is required on all visiting locos, so loco needs to come to Bh before it can be used. The latest low loaders are steerable in a way that never used to be the case, so can get in position at Bh for unloading easier than before.

Photos were also added to the SVRLive page yesterday, for non-FB users
