According to Wikipedia the tumbleholm on the sides of a BR Mk1 is a 28ft radius. I seem to recall seeing a diagram many years ago that showed it to be 38ft. Is there anyone here who can give me a definitive answer and a reference to the source please.

If moderators would prefer to see this in the rolling stock section please feel free to move it and remove this note.

The exact dimension is 28 feet 1 7/8 inches. This can be seen on the profile drawing SC-ES-532.

I believe the correct term is tumblehome.

Thanks for that. I now know the tumblehome is much closer to 28ft and the 38ft figure must have been an error or I mis-read it.

Perhaps a Mod will correct my mis-spelt thread title.
