A reminder that the 2015 event is on Saturday 18 July. A PDF brochure is available to download from the SVR website:

http://www.svr.co.uk/pdf/Gate%20Leaflets/PeepBehindScenesLeaflet2015.pdf

A 5 wristband in aid of the 4150 Fund gets you access to areas including:
- Kidderminster: Signal Box, North Star Carriage Works, Carriage Shed and turntable, No 1 Dock with Diesel footplate and sleeping coach, Wrangaton Signal Box.
- Bewdley: North Signal Box, Yard including 4150, DMU rides on the old Stourport and Tenbury branches.
- Bridgnorth: Yard, engine shed and wheeldrop, signal box

Various start times for the different areas, see the brochure for details.

Looking foreward to tomorrow, just working out with the timetable how to fit in visiting all locations, as well as the "book coach" at Hampton Loade if it is open.
Normally avoid diesel haulage, but it looks as though the Deltic is on CS1 , so might be tempted...!

I echo sue's comments. An enjoyable day. I suspect plenty of wristband sales to boost 4150's boiler fund.
Talking of boilers, the EMF lads at Bridgnorth appear determined to have "Bradley" ready for the "Manor 50" event. Woe betide the boiler shop if they are late delivering.... Wink
As ever the slight disappointment was the locked and out of bounds boiler shop. I know there are "security" concerns, but surely the end door could have been open for us to view from outside.
Viewed from the carriage shed shuttle it looked as though activity in the diesel depot was on preparing the Harriers side road for concreting.
