I definitely wish to protest at this sort of post. There are missing apostrophes !! We shouldn't allow such laxity in the forum. I trust you noticed, Brian ?? Shocked

Another punctuation comment to take this further off topic!

Following on from the missing apostrophes we now seem to have an outbreak of the spurious use of capital letters!

Unfortunately you failed to win the LTA for life because you overlooked the opportunity to use the lower case personal pronoun. Laughing

On a side note, yesterday D8188 (the black one) was found to be knackered and needs repairing.

Took a long time to search through the pages of froth & waffle to find the above post, but D8188 was running at Kidderminster today, arriving just before the 11.40 departed. Parked in one of the bay platforms when I returned.

Does that mean that 177 will be scrapped after the component recovery has been completed?

Apparently not. There are still many other parts that can be recovered... So I think they will continue to use 177 as "a set of class 20 spares in a handy class 20 shaped tin" for a while longer.

20 177 is parked in Kidder station, apparently to take part in the Hallowe'en events as a ghost loco.

Not anymore, it was moved sunday back to make way for an obbo. Shame as it would have looked good with the planned cobwebs, lights and skeletons.
