Probably related to Diesel Gala?

Also a Derby to Butterley earlier in the day, so collecting something from Butterley?

Filmed it departing from Kidder this morning, running a bit late. Surprised to see the Class 50 had been started up - is that to do with the braking, or something else??

I was out for the evening so haven't had time to edit it all, but this clip shows the convoy after it has left the SVR and starting the journey south, notice the Class 50 engine is running:-

Sharpo, I understand the 50 was started as the 66 was struggling to make air to brake system on the whole train. Once air was made the 50 was stopped.

Thanks Joe, I saw several people walking backwards and forwards alongside the locos as they were preparing for departure, so guessed something wasn't quite right.

Final 2 clips from Kidderminster on Saturday. In the first one the convoy can be seen in the distance, during the 7 minutes or so of video 2857 arrives, 1501 departs and 50035 is started.

The second clip shows the convoy moving away from the station area and then reversing off the SVR tracks, 2857 also wanted to get in on the action!
