Going by road or rail? Can't see any mention in Traffic Notices.

Many additions and changes have been going into the TNs at (very) short notice recently.

I'm sure you also had a look on the NR timetables, and like me found nothing (but those are expected to change at short notice!).

Well it'll be a good convoy, 4 x Class 20s and a 46. All that's needed now is a departure time and hopefully a green for the Dark Side.

SVR Facebook and SVRLive

Due to a problem with Erlestoke Manor D8059 worked the 10.30 a.m. from Kidderminster and will share the rest of diagram in tandem with steam locomotive No. 1501

Lifted from Matt Robinson on FB

Erlestoke possibly has a leaking plug

If the class 20 and 1501 were top and tail, that's like the ELR santa trains today, which I saw at Bury. They had two trains running, City of Wells and a class 31, and the crab and a class 45, Bury to Rawtenstall. Also, a shuttle DMU 3 car + bubble car, Bury to Heywood. Presumably it takes too long to run the steam loco around its train at Rawtenstall. I hope City of Wells visits the SVR and we can have a Southern W/E with the SVRís spam cans.

So 1501 stayed at the north end in both directions. I took a look as it passed us, because I heard a diesel and saw smoke. 1501 did not seem to be doing much of the work up the bank, so was presumably mainly heating carriages.

Main website states that both cl.20s are no longer used by the SVR.

Both have most recently visited the MRC, Butterley. D8188 has further visits elsewhere planned
