I'm trying to book a member's ticket for the Spring Gala via the website, and I'm being asked for a membership number. My membership card has a three digit number prefixed with an M and a six digit number prefixed with a U. Neither of these are described as a membership number, and the website won't accept any combination. Does anyone know what number I should be entering?

Incidentally, when booking a three day ticket for the gala, I was asked which of the three days it was for. This isn't required for non-member tickets.

Thanks, Dave.
I suggest you enter the number prefixed by the 'M', but without the M.

Thanks - that worked fine. Based on the amount of time I've been a member, I didn't expect that my membership number would be only three digits.

7714 has been substituted by 34027, according to another posting elsewhere

Hi Pete

http://www.svr.co.uk/MeetTheLoco.aspx?id=90

D2957 no longer carries its fictitious BR number and is now again 319290

D3802 rather than 'in store' is undergoing assessment for overhaul I believe

D9551 doesn't carry 'Angus' and the comment about loaded test run can come off now

D1015 Western Champion was listed in the Diesel Festival brochure under 'Home Fleet'.

D1062 is now blue

D3201 is undergoing power unit repairs and I gather the 09 too is out of use but I don't think you cover these on this page

Regards

Patrick

The 09 out of use? D4100 was running during the Gala, and was running yesterday.

Ah. Back in use then. The 50s have been shunting the Northern Belle stock recently as the 09 was OOU but I hadn't picked up its return - apologies

Hi Pete

http://www.svr.co.uk/MeetTheLoco.aspx?id=20

7714 could probably lose its Nov 16 dated note

1450 is acknowledged by other hiring railways as being owned by Pull Push Limited (of which Mike Little is a director).

For consistency, TV is shown as modified and SKP as rebuilt

Cheers

Patrick

I've made a few appropriate mods; it's probably correct strictly speaking in the case of Push Pull, but in this and other cases the company is effectively owned by the one person.

One other thought. 1501 (built in 1949) is described as Ex-BR [Great Western Railway design]. Should 43106 and 46443 (both built in the 1950s) therefore be described as Ex-BR [London Midland & Scottish Railway design] to be consistent?

In fact TV is presumably not owned direct by Phil Swallow, but by Taw Valley Ltd. I think the only person who owns a loco on the SVR solely in his own name is me!
