Presumably taken before the 1952 landslip. The signal on the left controlled the entrance to Maw & Co's sidings (out of picture left). Just to the right of the tall tree is the distant signal protecting the level crossing at Jackfield South Ground frame near the Craven Dunnill factory (out of picture right). The first Jackfield Halt was almost opposite the latter signal so should be visible, but is probably obscured by the tree.
