Kidderminster Wharf, undated. The crane and church are still there, the other buildings are long gone. Photo taken from approximately where the bypass is today.

There's also an interesting article about the area and the demolition of the cottages at https://www.facebook.com/groups/262033113943684/permalink/899535513526771/

Stretching the limit of "local" or "SVR related", this undated photo shows the Engine Shop at Coalbrookdale.
Those little steam powered water pumps in the foreground have always fascinated me. The idea of avoiding using a crankshaft by putting a piston on both ends of a connecting rod with a link in the middle to operate the valves on the opposite cylinder is brilliant in its simplicity.

I'll put any cliff railway ones I find in here from now on and keep the Bridgnorth thread just for SVR stuff.
Undated.

Undated. Dhustone is a type of volcanic basalt commonly used in roadmaking, "dhu" being welsh for "black".

Kinlet Colliery, undated, but it closed in 1937.
Not much of interest from an industrial archaeology point of view, but there's so few photos of the smaller local quarries that anything's better than nothing.
