is there a shareholder forum or site or something?
How do they get the latest SP?
Can others get to see what they see?

There is the password protected SVR-Online, not just for shareholders

There is on SVRLive a shareholders section which has been used with passwords to distribute AGM materials. SVRLive is to be replaced.

thanks. Found the shareholder section on SVRLive. It only talks about 'outsourcing our share, register to Neville Registrars, as this has been shown to be cost effective'. ,

Didnt know about the password section and replacing SVRlive - this answ, ers my other post. Thanks again.

been looking for SVR (Holdings) PLC info.
There is the annual report.
Think there is also a report called an half year report. Can this be seen?

I can't recall having seen one? There is an occasional shareholders' newsletter but nothing I can remember recently.

Patrick

Isn't the shareholders newsletter issued just before the members and shareholders (old title) weekend ?
Apart from that, the shareholders report is issued with the accounts.

Happy Christmas everyone

Peter

thanks both.
I thought SVR holdings had to produce a half year report to stay legal?
2 updates a year would be good for all to see what is going on.

Extract from SVRLive [published 19 November 2017]
http://www.svrlive.com/share-issue-2016

The Severn Valley Railway (Holdings) PLC Board has the authority to allot shares when approached from time to time by people interested in subscribing for shares. For information please contact the SVR Share Registrars. Refer to the web page for Registrars contact details.

Our Share Issue 2016 closed in October 2017 having raised 2,520,300 but you can continue to support our journey to transform Bridgnorth Station by donating the Charitable Trust's Bridgnorth Development fund. Thank you.

Taken from the SVR share page at http://www.svr.co.uk/ShareOffer1.aspx

Quote:
Continual investment in the Railway is required to enable the SVR to develop a site of national importance whilst retaining its position as a place of great local affection. It is anticipated that the additional necessary funding will come from profits generated from the annual running of the Railway, grant receipts from organisations such as the Severn Valley Railway Charitable Trust and share purchases from shareholders. The SVR Board does retain the authority to allot shares when approached from time to time by people interested in subscribing for shares.

It's just restating the position before the Share Offer 2016, when anyone could approach the registrars and apply for shares. Any shares now issued are not legally bound by the 2016 prospectus or ring-fenced for Brisgnorth development. (Donations to the CT are if you wish to reserve them for that.)
