50035 has a suspected (to be investigated ASAP) AVR fault (not providing any electric to auxiliaries like the compressors, etc)

20059 only towed the coaches back to KR. I understand it will collect 50035 tomorrow.

Can only apologise to all those affected by the failure. Did my utmost to get the old girl to go, sometimes you just can't do that, unfortunately. Hopefully a relatively straightforward fault to cure.

A mention (OT) also for 12099 which did Thunderbird duty to clear the traffic jam and allow 34053 to run round.

Video of D8059 at Arley today (Saturday) in place of 1501, which had a broken spring.

Pity there was no "Thunderbird" headboard!

I saw TV when I was coming into Bewdley on the Ex 1.05pm from Kidderminster. I wondered what had happened. It went onto the back of the 1.20pm from Bewdley. Top and tail Bullied train. Smile Also, the SV Limited diner was 20 mins late at Bewdley passing through at 3.25pm. Does anyone know why it was late?

I think there was some difficulties crossing the train with SKP and TV (1.05pm ex Kidderminster) with the class 20's train (1.40pm ex. Bridgnorth) at Hampton Loade - 2 nine coach sets there is quite tight to fit through the loop! Wink
This caused some delay with getting the 1.40pm service down as far as Arley to cross the diner so the diner was delayed getting into Bridgnorth - a knock-on effect to the afternoon's services...
EDIT - See 34027 thread for info on checking axlebox at each intermediate station... Wink

It was enjoying to watch the shunting at Arley on Sunday. Just uploaded the video of D8059 returning from Highley with the tank wagons, which were shunted into the yard. The brake van was loose shunted when the 20 had to run round before heading south.

https://youtu.be/S3uGvx1ZV0Y

EDIT changed fly to loose. I can't be right all the time!!!

...loose shunted, something which is rather less risky!

You're right, I had just finished correcting it after it was pointed out to me by somebody else.
