33108 was sat in the yard at Highley today. Has it been here ever since the Spring Diesel Festival, or did it go and come back? Any news on how long it's here for?

As it says on the SVR website http://www.svr.co.uk/MeetTheLoco.aspx?id=90 "visiting SVR until May 2018"
Is also used on P. Way trains.

Dear Robin, out of interest I spent a bit of time scouring the internet and found some history on 33108 which I can share with you. Have a look at this hyperlink = http://www.class33crompton.co.uk/Crompton33108.htm

There seems to be a common theme of the occasional diesel locomotive 'lodging' on the railway and then moving on elsewhere.

33108 and D8568 were invited to stay until May 2018 and the Summer of 2017 respectively.

I filmed 33108 today and thought I'd better edit out part of it, but when I viewed it on my pc I realised what was happening - the buffers were being set back, or whatever the term is, to use the buckeye coupling?

I've seen it before with coaching stock but not with a loco.

https://youtu.be/q_9VCnovJpc

It's a 5 minute clip of the train arriving, departing etc.
