D8188 removed 1501, then shunted in 7714.

How long has 1501 been out of service - will this be record for an overhaul on the SVR?

1501 finished on 31/12/06 from what I recall.

Engines turned around more quickly in recent times include 686, 5764, 7802, 46443 & 48773, all of which were stripped down for overhaul pretty quickly after coming out of traffic.

No, I gave the body work a very good clean on Sunday and again on Thursday just before it went. Glad you thought that though. Very Happy

I think so, http://forum.svra.org.uk/viewtopic.php?t=525 says that
