Is it being coupled to foxcotes tender? Two things on this
1. Isnt foxcotes tender in BR livery whereas the loco is in GWR?
2. When down for the 40's weekend they were emptying the tender of the coal as if getting it ready to go.

Isnt the svr's 2-8-0 tender ready for use? (Certain looks ready for use) Could the not run it in behind 3802?

3802 was having test runs this afternoon, after some new springs have been attached. This means a weigh teat is required which combined with an insurance exam, will put it's first running day to next weekend at the best.

Well, the Llangollen ASG is a two weeks before ours, but they are getting alot from what i heard and its a smaller railway, so they might not need 3802.

All I could see advertised as Llangollen "guest locos" were Truro & Pitchford Hall, so not really a lot.

Someone was saying they were getting some bigger stuff, evidently not.

I've heard that it is not complete withe 2857 trust still adding bits to it, for instance steam heat pipe.

As far as I know. We, at Llangollen Railway are only getting 2 guest engines for our Autumn Gala. We were orginally meant to get a third engine in the form of a tank engine, but looks as though that it will only be the two.

Had to take a break from eating my ham egg & chips today for a few photos of 3802 at Bewdley, as the clearances were checked through the platforms.
