Lucy Kite from ITV filmed a feature today on Ladies Day (Sunday 28 July) for Central News, to be aired later in the week. She drove a steam locomotive, tutored by our own Charlotte Marsh

Extensive piece duly appeared on ITV Central just now. Reporter footplated with our lady driver Charlotte Marsh, and did I see a brief clip of certain EMF shopkeeping personalities having their tickets gripped?

Forthcoming Ladies Day and headboard mentioned.

What absolutely superb publicity for the SVR.

Well done to whoever organised this.

Not TV but film. On November 18th 2857 was in action during the filming of "The Black Prince".

We’re pleased to be welcoming both BBC Inside Out and BBC Radio Shropshire to the Railway next week, both producing features about our 50th anniversary.

BBC Radio Shropshire (Interviewer Genevieve) will be coming on Monday February 16th. Genevieve will be travelling on the 10.25 from Bridgnorth to Highley, visiting the Engine House and returning on the 12.24 to Hampton Loade and 1.21 to Bridgnorth. She will be chatting to visitors, volunteers and staff about what the SVR means to them as part of a radio feature on our first 50 years.

In addition, BBC Inside Out will be filming on Tuesday February 17th and Tuesday February 19th

(snip)

If you can spread the word that the BBC will be with us next week, it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help with this – the publicity will be very useful!

The BBC Inside Out feature on the SVR will be aired on TV later in February (date to be advised).

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Best regards,

Clare Gibbard

I can't see the SVR listed yet for any BBC Inside Out episodes up until March 6th on http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0071mv2/episodes/player . Please can someone put up the date if they become aware of it? Thanks.

BBC ONE - West Midlands is BSkyB Channel 960 for those that live out of area. There will be 30 days to watch it on iPlayer.
