Most of you probably know about this website, which shows times of all trains on Network Rail.
Not relevant to the SVR, but check this one out!

Someone has the Christmas spirit! Having scrolled through the list very quickly and stopping very briefly about a dozen times, but not long enough to read more than three or four names at random each time, I found that Santa is calling at our local station and all stations between Wolverhampton and Oakengates except for Cosford. I lived in one of these villages as a child and wonder what the odds are against finding my current and childhood homes in such a short, random selection. Surprised

It DOES call at Cosford; it's scheduled between Brockley and Baldock. I don't think the route has been optimised, but I'm sure he knows what he's doing!

Looking at the reporting code, it is carrying a member of Royalty. Is that Prince George, by any chance?

I'm sure Santa knows what he is doing and has Cosford on his list. It was simply that I missed it in skipping through hundreds of stations at a time in my very quick, brief trawl. What is remarkable is that so many of the others were picked up. Laughing

There are quite a few reviews on Trip Advisor on the Christmas Serrvices. You can reach there with a link from the SVR website front page.

I was at Bewdley yesterday. What happened to the 16.10 up and down? The flying pig was waiting at Bewdley for 40 mins on the 15.26 from Kidderminster. A train came travelling to Kidderminster at 16.20. The DMU was used to transport people back to Kidderminster at 16.05.
