Out of interest have any of the diesels got working boilers for steam heat ?

Weather looks a bit wet for thursday, but friday/saturday/sunday all look warm and sunny.
Should help towards a good attendance.

Yes, steam on Sunday, so a decent day for the rest of us to visit!

Just looking at the Met Office weather radar there is a lot of rain coming up from the south. Expect a very wet end to today (thursday).

I braved the weather to get some photos today, obviously the quality isn't the best but at least I managed a shot of every loco booked to run. Not got time to add captions, but will complete that later.

Thanks for sharing those images. Looked to be plenty of visitors around, and no skimping on the number of carriages in most of the rakes.

The two tone green deltic D9009 Alycidon will look better on the maroon LMS coaches. Pity the SVR havenít got any mark 2F coaches for the blue deltic 55002.
