From Deltic Preservation Society on Twitter:

55019 - Dates at Severn Valley: Table A 17-20 Jun 1-5 Sept. Table C 7 Jun, 27 Jul. Gala 2/3/4 Oct.

From The Fifty Fund:

Be aware that other forums are publishing information that doesn't have SVR approval, so may turn out to be incorrect.

I've deleted what turns out to be the unofficial list from this thread

The link from that "click here to find out more" page needs altering, as it open the list in a new tab, which also means "back" will not work.

Yesterday, I saw in one of the railway magazines that 50026 Indomitable is coming for the summer to fill in for the unavailable class 50s.

From SVR Latest News:
Quote:
Our resident Class 42 No. D821, currently away on specialist repair work, is unlikely to be returning to the SVR for the 2014 season due to on-going major repairs.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Due to this failure, our Diesel Locomotive Roster is subject to change and will be updated with any changes in due course.

That's odd, since just a few days ago, this was posted on the DTG website:

1st June 2014
"D821 appearing with D1015 at the West Somerset Railway's Mixed Traction weekend 6th - 8th June"

Yes, I'd looked at that recently, with D1015 going down today I was expecting it to bring D821 back next week.

Just goes to show the difficulties faced, and hard work involved, by the resident groups in keeping the heritage diesel fleet working

Working - Class 20 (x2), 52
Not working - Class 50 (x4), 52, 35, 27, 14, 42

In that case, once the diesel shed is complete & in use the situation will hopefully improve.

2015 operating dates http://svr.co.uk/MeetTheLoco.aspx?id=26

I've reported http://svr.co.uk/Footplate_DieselDrivingExperience.aspx and http://svr.co.uk/MeetTheLoco.aspx?id=26 have differences in the locos on offer (eg D8059) and dates.

We have been advised of an amendment to the roster published on February 7th. 55019 ‘ROYAL HIGHLAND FUSILIER’ has been allocated an additional running day on Saturday 25th July, when it will operate the ‘Timetable C’ (2 trips) diagram.

2016 dates have been posted by Dave Redbourne of the Fifty Fund to Severn Valley Railway Diesels Public Group on FB.

I'm sure it will be on the SVR website shortly and I've no idea if this link will work but here it is:

http://fiftyfund.org.uk/SVR%202016%20diesel%20roster%20-%20Public.pdf

Notable this year are a Western Weekend in August with 1015/1062, the early diesel gala, planned first duties of D9551 ["it will be finished when it's finished"!] and the late joining of D1062 (bogie work). As an educated guess, hopefully there will be two 20s and three 50s in use?
