An update for May has now been posted.

see http://www.gw-svr-a.org.uk/6045-restoration.html

We are appealing for two new volunteers who may be interested in restoring 6045's bogies. They will be swopped with a pair of spare bogies and will be at Kidderminster later this year where they can be fully restored.

Please contact us if you are interested in this project.

We would still like to hear from anyone who could help with the overhaul of 6045's bogies. A chance to learn all the aspects of bogie construction!

Will all readers note we are still seeking two volunteers to tackle the bogie overhaul next year.

The work comprises working on one bogie at a time and dismantling it and cleaning and painting all the parts and reassembly. We will arrange repairs to parts as necessary.

Please get in touch if you are willing to help.
