If it's damp and drizzly it'll be just like Wales Wink

Not only that, it was cold and very windy when I saw the Manors this afternoon. Haven't uploaded the better clip of 7820 yet, but this was it in the rain - just what I DIDN'T want!

Thankfully the return trip was in better light, although the shadows were growing fast. Probably upload that Saturday morning, it's getting late now.

Good morning all

A request for those of you on Facebook

there is a dedicated Manor 50 page. we'd love to see all your pictures and video's shared on the page , some superb stuff already from the evening shoots and Footplate experience days

https://www.facebook.com/ManorFifty/

Also from David Postle

Apologies for the late reminder but for those who read their emails before dusk, this is just a reminder that we have a film show tonight. Michael Clemens is coming to show some of his films and tonight's show is linked to the event for the weekend which is celebrating 50 years since the last Manor worked on the Cambrian. Michael's show will be about the lines worked by the Manors such as the Cambrian and the North Devon areas.

Hope you can make it. - it should be a most enjoyable evening.

9 clips in a playlist, featuring the three Manors on Friday.

Spent a few hours at Arley today, no sun (but plenty of rain) during the time I was there. Will try & sort the videos later this evening.

A busy day despite the weather with the trains well filled compared to how it might have been on a November Saturday. Hopefully more of the same tomorrow but a bit drier.

Busy indeed - standing room only on the 9.00 from Kidderminster. Good to see Bradley Manor back.

Yes, just the 3 toplights, and the guest loco on a non stop run is always likely to get a good crowd. The option was to wait more than an hour for the next departure (it will only be 25 minutes tomorrow if the same happens).

Still enjoyed the non-stop run, though. Smile

No wonder I am always behind with my videos, it has taken me two evenings to edit and upload the videos from Saturday, filmed at Arley. They can be viewed, in the order they happened, in a playlist and were filmed between about 11.50 and 14.11. It started drizzling as I arrived and just got wetter & wetter.

That's videos from Sunday finished. All at Arley, no surprise there I suppose, at least I filmed all 5 locos running.
