No. 70000 "Britannia" has been named as the first ASG visitor: http://www.svr.co.uk/NewsItem.aspx?a=656

So we add 3205, Ratbag Hall, 46521, 78019, 4141, Leander and Galatea and we end up with all the former SVR based locos currently in ticket visiting this year.

Of course, I have probably forgotten one or two!

I wonder if 3205 was a "near miss" for the Spring Gala, given that it is at LLangollen for their two-week event.
Anyway, 70000 is a good start, lets hope other "returnees" are in the pipeline.

Few date corrections for that list -

The Britannia entry is incorrect - It says it left in 1989 when it was actually 1981.

Also Ratbag left in 1996 not 1995 as listed following completion of it's overhaul when it moved to the GWSR

Finally 46521 - This left in 2001 not 2002 arriving at the GCR in the November.

Thanks, Wiki site updated accordingly.

Reading through the Wiki site I noticed that in the year 1977 47383 is refered to as 47373. Also in September 1990 Flying Scotsman is quoted as appearing in LNER livery and renumbered as 3442.
On the whole a good site. At least the references used can generaly be relied upon.

Rather than post comments on here about inaccuracies, why don't you just go on the site and change them? That's what i've done with things I've noticed.

As Pete says, anyone is free to edit or add to the Wiki as they wish. I'm also happy to change anything if comments are left on this forum, especially as I'm normally the one who's responsible for the original typo. Embarassed

Just wondering, will it have a test run on the main line after the gala to get whatever "certificate" it requires, or will it return by road?

Just guessing, but I wonder if obtaining a certificate to run on NR requires a sustained run at a decent speed, which would probably not be sufficient with just running between KDR and Bewdley, which the Met tank did.
