Via Facebook are several images from Richard Herington from inside Kidderminster carriage works showing this coach from the Maroon set

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=951746388210654&set=pcb.10152898366176989&type=1&theater

Details of this 1961-built coach can be found at http://www.cs.vintagecarriagestrust.org/se/CarriageInfo.asp?Ref=1784

I couldn't see this coach on SVR Wiki and have left a message on there

Patrick

EDITED: Corrected number in thread title - thanks Sharpo

Thanks both. Like Sharpo, I don't do Facebook so can only see the photos, not the context in which they were posted. I assume from the photos, the context is "work in progress...".

Now added on the Wiki and I've included a link to both the Facebook and Sharpo's World photos.

A better link is to https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=pcb.10152898366176989&type=1 which shows the whole album of 12 images, my apologies.

The context from Mr Herington was:

Quote:
The next Mk1 Coach is moved into the Kidderminster Carriage Works

I embellished it with a little more detail when I reposted it

I hope that helps. I'll be a little more careful in posting FB links from now on so people get the full picture (excuse the pun) - thanks for the prompt

Cheers

Patrick

me also. Why cant a normal SVR web site report progress?
The GWR at Toddington post loads of pictures and text every other day or so.

The SVRA site had something but even that has dried up.

Thanks Patrick, album link used on the Wiki.

As a general principle I don't mind reading faceache if I have to, I just don't have the desire to create an account. Ditto Twitter. Unfortunately the Unofficial Severn Valley Railway Facebook group appears to be a closed group needing a login, so I'll have to live in ignorance. My choice, I know.
