The proper version of the timetable is now out and plenty in Kiddy booking office.

Pity it wasn't available to have been included with the latest SVR News.

The '16 timetable leaflet could only g to print once the ASG decisions had been made (passim)

See also the SVR News article on marketing, and leaflet distribution. SVR News is available to non-members at BH and KR shops, £3.

Is It something to celebrate that SVR timetables have only just appeared on 11th March 2016..........how bad is it that the only timetables distributed were the 'preview' ones still out there which still shows ASG in September.

All the faffing about since last August when it was known Scotsman was coming to decide how railway would operate it meant timetables couldn't be printed until details worked out.......we should have everything settled in good time and in fact them why not give out in December with every santa special ticket to publicise the coming years timetable and events......there is a ready made audience of over 30,000

Maybe FS visit is exceptional but we have been running trains since February 13th and it has been frankly embarrassing to tell public buying tickets or just enquiring that sorry no timetables.........it hasn't impressed members of the public I have dealt with.........hopefully we will do better next year.....

It's not because of working out the details -- that was done quite some time ago. Negotiations with the NRM have taken a lot longer than hoped, and there was no way we could sensibly print all the timetables until we were absolutely certain it would becoming at all; and that has only been the last few days. And that's why it's taken until now before we could get them printed.

Unbelievable - that should have been done the same time it went to the printers

Yes, it should - I don't have a copy of the final version, so I can't do it, but I've now reminded those that have got it ... Thanx for pointing this out.

Further to my earlier comment, I've been told that it's being worked on today, but it isnít quite as simple as just adding the print-ready Pdf Ė we create a flip book version and a double page spread version. Hopefully ready on the website soon.

Some people seem to like it -- though I must admit I don't!
pdf version has now been put up on the website.

Thanks Pete. I see we have a final timetable which doesn't include the words 'Flying' or 'Scotsman'. Interesting...

In the Co-operative supermarket in Hereford today I could see 2016 timetable brochures for the GWSR, Swindon & Cricklade, and the Evesham Vale Light Railway, but nothing yet for the SVR other than the non-timetable brochure, "every journey leaves a memory" or similar.

Shrewsbury railway station last Thursday had the SVR non-timetable brochure as well as timetables for the F&WHR, Talyllyn Railway and VoR.
