I stand to be corrected but I thought 50008 had all the VB equipment removed when being prepared for export?

Ah, having just checked recent pictures you appear to correct in it not having vac brakes.
Hmm, unless the intention is to hire in an air-braked rake of coaches. But we shall have to see I suppose.

Interesting. I wonder if we have enough air brake qualified guards. A quick conversion course may be required

A conversation I had with a guards inspector a while back suggested the answer is not many but advanced warning will hopefully allow something to be sorted.
