We are extremely excited to announce that a GB Railfreight (GBRf) Class 66 will be attending our Spring Diesel Festival.
The locomotive will also be named during the event running from May 19 - 21 and will be in service during the festival on Friday and Saturday.

Some new GBRf Class 66 locos arrived in the UK during the past week, wonder if it will be one of those?

Did anybody see the convoy passing Kidderminster on Monday? If you didn't, this is it approaching Hagley:-

There had been a lot of "talk" about it in railway circles in recent weeks, including videos of the locos in a convoy in America. Some people were even tracking MV Happy Dragon as it brought the locos to Newport Docks. Arrival at the docks was Friday, so then it was just a matter of waiting for an STP from Newport to Doncaster - which would be the convoy.

There were 2 previous convoys through Kidderminster in 2014, which I also filmed. I put all 3 convoys in a video playlist:-

Keep a lookout on http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk
Select the day, a suitable location, and look for 'Non-Passenger services'.

So 2 locos that are air brake only. Will they need to split over Vic Bridge?
