Probably already on the to do list, but the Bewdley History page has headings but no other information or links.

Thanks, this stuff is very useful.

As you say, we're running a list.

There's a project that started last Friday to populate the remaining station pages by one of the station volunteers, as part of their Award scheme. They did the existing pages last summer.

Over the Christmas break we will also be looking at easier/better ways of showing the news items, the current way is very time consuming and doesn't display uniformly on all systems.

Could we have a search facility similar to that on the SVR website and this forum? One for Bill Griffiths?

A quick look says "Currently, a search box feature for your site is not supported." There apparently are search apps available but I'm not sure if they would cost. It's one for Bill, as you suggest. Bill says he will look into it.

Thanks again

Patrick

Patrick, the 23/12/16 News link on the home page (first item under Ch-ch-ch-changes...) is pointing at SVR in the Media rather than the current News page.

Thank you, and apologies. It does that sporadically, without reason.

Now fixed

Patrick - News page, item dated 30/12/16 titled '82045 new build' is linking to an article on D5410 - Class 27.

Thanks and apologies. It seems to work fine. The links were in the right place and I can only guess it had saved but not published.

We are running a test version *using blog posts for news articles) which will do away with the things causing these glitches and, hopefully, give much improved functionality. More on this in the new year.

Regards

Patrick

I have set up a page in anticipation of updates on winter work.

I gather Chris Bond is on holiday at present so updates may be slightly delayed on this and the Bridgnorth development.

Work on SVRLive site improvements has continued, Bill has a review of progress scheduled in the coming days.

Over the closed period SVRLive will have updates on:

Share Offer
Bridgnorth project updates
Infrastructure works in progress- updates from Chis Bond
Interesting things going on behind the scenes to get ready for the 2017 running season

SVR publicity will also feature:

February Half Term running
Spring Steam Gala two visiting locos now announced and tickets are on sale
Spring Diesel Festival tickets now on sale
1940s tickets now on sale
Peppa Pig & George Visit once tickets are made available (hopefully end of January)

http://www.svrlive.com/our-railway

"Highley:
You are now in Shropshire."

Followed by;

"Arley:
You are out in the heart of the Worcestershire countryside now."

This could do with slight rewording from the original on http://www.svr.co.uk/Stations.aspx where they are listed south to north.

Colour of print on page!

There is so much now on SVRLive that I can't keep up with it all. This morning I had a look at the Arley section and found the pale green text on the dark sections of the image in the background made it difficult to read.

http://www.svrlive.com/ay-latest-news

Does anybody else have that problem?

It would be much easier if the background under the text had more of a contrast to the colour of the text, as in those 6 boxes at the bottom of the page.
