Kidderminster Shuttle

April 6th Flying Scotsman tickets sell out hours after Severn Valley Railway website crashes. This repeats comments made on Facebook by some disappointed people

April 7th Severn Valley Railway issues apology following website ticket sale chaos. It also has some comments.

Between September 22 and 25, the Scotsman will be hauling trains at the Severn Valley Railway’s Autumn Steam Gala (01562 757900; svr.co.uk) on its scenic line between Kidderminster and Bridgnorth through Shropshire and Worcestershire.

There are still tickets left for [...] the Severn Valley Railway between September 22 - 25. For more information and to book go to www.flyingscotsman.org.uk/events/scotsman-on-the-tracks .

Yesterdays Express and Star carried a 3 column 8 inch article on Flying Scotsman visiting the SVR as part of the Autumn gala. It will roar into the SVR from Sept 22nd to 25th.
The article is headed by a 3 column 5 inch photo of Scotsman crossing the Forth Bridge, and headed "Flying Scotsman on its way"

The BBC Midlands News last night included an item on Scotsman's visit to Tyseley (including footage of the reporter squeezing through the tender corridor), then comments on the visit to SVR.
