Guidance.
From time to time a new topic can sometimes be created by a user without realising that the topic already exists somwhere else in the forum. We then have duplication and an element of confusion.

This occasional situation does highlight the importance of using the Search facility to check to see if the subject already exists. A few minutes searching can be beneficial.

Is it possible to remove the time delay between searches?
Say, for example, you were trying to find an old post on 600 Gordon. If you don't find what you're looking for under "Gordon", so try "600" instead, you will get a message saying "You cannot make another search so soon after your last; please try again in a short while." You will then get a similar delay when you try "600 and Gordon", LMR", "Longmoor" and so on.
The same happens if you realise you've left it at the default searched by topics then try again to search by posts.

Graham, there us a 15 sec flood interval limit placed on repeated searches in an attempt to keep the global system bandits at bay.
