The convoy arrived yesterday afternoon, later than planned, but I also saw the 31 and Peak working as well.

Not forgetting 31271:-

I've got a photo from the camcorder:-

The locomotive formerly known as D2957 looking very smart, if a little wet, at Bewdley, ready for the Diesel Gala brake van rides at Highley.

47828 hasn't had its repaint finished in time for tomorrow so 50007 takes its place. Also there is a Beer and Burger night at The Engine House tomorrow, http://www.svr.co.uk/SEItem.aspx?a=101

Poor video of 50008 at Old Hill

https://youtu.be/3lghD2iFjiw

Better video of 60100 at Old Hill

https://youtu.be/qh1PJU6Uz_8

That's it, filmed everything I could before the gala. Great variety of locos to see over the next few days but will I ever finish uploading the videos? I'm sure I never finished the diesel gala last year or the steam gala in March.

Hope everybody enjoys the gala as much as I've enjoyed seeing such a variety of locos in last few weeks. At least I had my dose of 37s on the Berkeley flask yesterday, maybe a 37 next year?

I thoroughly enjoyed the day, spent at Kidderminster.

I'm not plugging any photos or videos, a couple might get uploaded this evening - you know where to find them. Weather doesn't look too bad for tomorrow, fingers crossed!

Following a repaint, 47828 looked very smart on the 10.40 off Kidder.

Looks like I'm on my own here!

Well I certainly enjoyed it, had about 6 hours at Kidder today - a bit showery and chilly and the trains were running late.

Loads more videos, trouble is I haven't finished editing those from Thursday morning yet.....

I was also there today and what a grand day out. Will remember it for a long time to come. Also my first visit around the new diesel depot - an incredible asset for the SVR. I purchased the 30th anniversary 5 Diesel DVD and will play it soon. Thank you to all for a superb effort.

The video of 50008 wasn't that bad. I had't realised one of the Pullman liveried coaches came with 50008.

I've seen a couple of comments on "one of" the blue coaches.

http://www.svrwiki.com/Carriages_visiting_the_SVR shows only one. Can someone shed any light on it please?

Patrick

I think the other blue one is 9513. They were from the Fragonset "Blue Pullman".

The Pullman liveried brake came with 50008, see SHARPOS video above. Cant make out the running number and did not make a separate note to the consist list which was attached to my journal. It returned on its own probably in n one of the convoys which left Monday

The consist on the Kiddy - Bewdley shuttle was antiquated to put it delicately, or they was "Steptoe Coach stock". LOL.

One of the "Pullman" coach looked look somebody had just splashed some paint on it and hoped for the best.

Did the aircon still work on them? They looked well past their scrapping date.
