the second guest loco for the NNR's March gala (4th-6th) will be Ivatt class 4 43106. Making a very welcome return to its former home territory, she will complete a trio of moguls running with our other guest 31806 and home based Std4 76084.
She comes to us courtesy of the Ivatt class 4 group and the Seven Valley Railway.

From Duncan Chandler on FB:

43106 has a broken snifter valve. 2857 rescued the driving school and then worked it forward and will do the Pig's turn tomorrow

Did look rather "steamy" when I saw it at Arley, I said to one of the station staff it looks like it might fail.

This is how it looked arriving at Arley Saturday lunchtime, haven't uploaded the departing shot yet. Have patience, or skip through the first minute or so to when the siganl is pulled of the train starts moving.

The steamy departure shot at Arley, from a distance, on Saturday:-

....but today it was seen on an 8 coach train at Kidderminster, running without any problems:-
