RVEL in Derby.

No it isn't operational; it needs a generator swap. Which is anticipated to be done while the loco is at Derby.

50031 is undergoing major works at Rvel at Derby. Bodywork repairs are progressing with all new drop light gutters and roof panel repairs. An ETH / Auxiliary generator change is underway.

This locomotive is maintained by The Fifty Fund

And it is being rededicated in September according to the Hood Association's website, as part of the 75th anniversary of the sinking of the HMS Hood.

56303 has run Washwood Heath to Derby, presumably to collect 50031? No return times from Kidder yet though.
