20188 is pictured on Facebook at Bewdley this morning about to work its first loaded test run since overhaul at Washwood Heath.

According to the pics she also double headed with sister D8059. They only ran Kiddy - Bewdley and back so no issues with double heading on this section.

The 20s can doublehead over the whole of the line, I believe, they are light enough to be allowed along the whole line in multiple.

I had thought so too, but I'm informed that's no longer the case and they had permission from Chris Bond to double head...

There is a note in the WTT that all double heading has to be authorised in advance by Operating and Infrastructure Managers. Each case is presumably assessed on its merits.
